Broadhempston Village Primary School

School Uniform

School Uniform

The school has a clearly defined uniform that all of the children wear.  The uniform is an integral part of the school ethos. The uniform can be purchased online from Brigade UK using the following link -  www.brigade.uk.com/

Boys are expected to wear white polo shirts, navy blue school sweatshirt, grey trousers/shorts and black shoes.

Girls are expected to wear grey skirts/pinafores/trousers, school sweatshirt or cardigan, white polo shirt and black shoes with a sensible heel.  Hair bands/slides should be kept to a minimum and should be of a plain design in blue if possible.  The summer uniform for girls consists of blue and white checked dresses and school sweatshirt.

All children will need a PE bag containing a full PE kit which consists of a school navy blue t-shirt and black/blue shorts. In the winter months children are encouraged to wear tracksuit bottoms and a school PE sweatshirt as shown on the Brigade website.

All children need to make sure they have a comfortable pair of plimsolls or trainers in their PE bags.  Children will also need a water bottle, they should bring this to school with them every day.

Please would parents ensure that all items of clothing are clearly labelled with the child's name.

Book bags and PE bags are available to purchase with the school logo on.

The school has an agreed policy for the wearing of jewellery. Children may have a maximum of one pair of earrings (studs or sleepers and one in each ear) and may wear a watch.  No other jewellery or accessory is permitted.  Children may be required to take off any jewellery during PE, Games, Dance and Drama lessons for health and safety reasons.
