The Link Academy Trust is looking to appoint a Mealtime Assistant to work alongside our existing team. You will need to be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual who can assist our kitchen staff in serving high quality meals for children, staff, visitors and events at our busy school.
Broadhempston is a traditional village school, surrounded by rolling fields and farms. Well known for creating safe and secure learning environments where all the children can grow and flourish. With links to its partner schools within the Trust and the local community, the children are given lots of learning opportunities outside the classroom and exciting experiences in all areas of the curriculum.

Main duties and responsibilities:
Ideally, you will:
- Previous experience in a similar role in a school;
- Be able to build good relationships with children and staff and be a friendly and positive presence in our school;
- Be willing to work as part of a team and have a good sense of humour;
- Be able to use your own initiative when required;
- Be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Clerk to the Trust
The Link Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint a highly organised individual with a professional manner and effective communication skills to support its Governance Team. The Clerk’s main role is to provide professional clerking services to the Trust Members, Board of Trustees and its sub-committees, including supporting and advising the Clerks to the Local Boards.
This is mainly a working from home part time role, 12.5hrs per week, 40 weeks per year, covering at least five full Trust Board meetings and up to 20 committee meetings per year.. Discretion and flexibility, plus excellent organisation and computer skills are essential in this role.
